#ShopMyWardrobeforLent Week 3

So safe to say I've been a bad blogger this week. You'd think it'd be easy to take a picture of your outfits everyday. Well you'd be wrong. I haven't been able to snap my outfits everyday this week. Mainly due to the fact I've been having to rush about and I've also been home. My outfits you could say lacked imagination or any creativity this week.  I've been lazy and wearing leggings with long tops (boringgg) but here's a few of my outfits anyway.

Next week is going to be struggle anyhow as it's paydayyy week. The past  3 have been SUPER easy as I've simply had no money. So I will update next week to inform of how I'm going to get along.

Just another blogging challenge - Something you don't know about me?

I like to think I'm a pretty open person.  As much as I hate to do it, near enough every aspect of my life is broadcast on social media. I mean we do live in a 'Big Brother' society, but I'd be pretty screwed if for some unannounced reason, the government had to find me. One look on my Instagram and they’d know I was in a nandos or the diner. SO when it came to writing this post, I was pretty screwed. I put my heart on sleeve, can’t keep my own secrets let alone others soooo there isn’t much, I haven’t at one point put on to the open world wide net.

I think the only thing I think people don’t know about me is that I’ve never fallen in love/been in a completely serious long term relationship. I’m not even sure I’ve had a relationship last longer than a year. I sometimes let it bother me, but at 22 I’ve had way too much fun to be bothered by it. I actually think my best friends have put me off, with their relationship problems etc. The idea of being with that same someone for longer than a year is terrifying. It might steam down from my parents’ divorce. I know the idea of marriage is more or less a complete right off because of it. I just haven’t found the one I suppose. I think being the pickiest person also doesn’t help this dilema. (

I’d love to find that one true love of course (anyone know of a chubby bearded man, who loves food, pop punk and me? hit me up); I just live by the idea of not settling. I can’t settle for second best, or being with someone for the sake of it. It just isn’t me, and if I’m not completely happy I won’t keep my mouth shut and put up with it, why should I?

I can’t see this being the most interesting ‘unknown fact’ in the world, but it’s personal to me and something I’m ready to share with the world. I suppose I literally have no unknown secrets to the world currently now.

#ShopMyWardrobeforLent Week 2

So the last week hasn't been too difficult. I can't tell if this is because I've been too busy to even contemplate looking online for clothes let a long pop in to a shop, or whether or not my bank balance will not allow for any unnecessary transactions.

I really am enjoying utilising my wardrobe though, and wearing bits I'd forgotten about. I am dying to shop my wardrobe back home though and already have a list of things I need to bring back.

Here's my outfits this week:

Outfit 1

A little bit of Anna Scholz to glam up my outfit today :)

Went with the simple boyfriend top and jeans with a statement necklace today.

Outfit 2

Outfit 3

TGI and unexpected date night to see Chvrches :) Disco pants were out in full force with some neon and khaki. Haven't got the pants out in a while ;)

Outfit 4

Night out with the girls. Tested out one of my new boohoo pieces. Adore the two piece dress. Comfortable and so easy to wear. Full boohoo review coming soon.

Outfit 5

Sundays are slowly becoming a FLAWLESS day for me. If I'm not hungover, I'm too lazy to get dressed. The dirty stop out I am ;) stayed at Debz after out night out. This is me in the morning with a horrible hangover haha.

Outfit 6

I love teaming up midis with tops. This top in particular is a rather threatening one ' Dear Karma, I have a list of people you missed.' Sadly this is pretty true.

Outfit 7
Celine Top and jeans (cheap ebay find - late to the pack I know.) Simple monochrome look with some statement jewels to dress up

So far so good on the outfit front. I can't wait to pack some goodies back in Wales. Let's hope my suitcase fits it all in ;)

#PSBYouAreGoodEnough

When it comes to my body and bits I like I can safely say my big round booty is my favourite part. Although honestly my list of things I like is ALOT longer than hate. I love my waist, I love my hips, I love how I wear bodycons and I look like a bigger version of Kym Kardashian (don't even care if you don't agree), I love my eyes, I love my smile, I love my dimples, I love my tattoos, I love my small ankles, I love my legs, I love my boobs, I love my arms. Yeah I love one hell of a lot about my body for a fat person right?

My bum anyway, It's my cushion that never let's me down, it follows me everywhere with no fail. It's just a part of my body that I love.  I love how my clothes cling to it and it sticks out, pert and proud. It also has some admirers in the name of Anna Scholz and Velvet D'Amour ;).

Here's some pictures of it in all it's glory anyhow.

The Twitter hashtag for this bloggers challenge is - #PSBYouAreGoodEnough . You can keep up with me and all the other girls on our blogs below and through the hashtag

Also  Just a reminder to everyone out there who doesn't think they're good enough.

What I won

I've been extremely lucky the past week and a bit. I won two competitions and received some amazing goodies.

The first thing I won was a Raffle from the new UK based plus size store MSSVG. At BPSFW they held a raffle through out the day at the market place. To enter you simply had to like the store and comment. I won the raffle and received some amazing prizes. The main prize was a Junarose dress (which may I add fit's like a glove, review coming soon)

The second thing I won was from blogger Leah from thirtysomethingcurvyme . A 200 post giveaway the prizes amounted to £200. I got to chose a mac lipstick of my choice and won a few goodies along with a photoshoot.

Here's some pictures of the items.

(excuse the head in the mirror hahaha)

Now to book the photo shoot and chose some outfits to wear :p

#ShopMyWardrobeforLent Week 1

So week one of no shopping is complete. I wanna say it's been difficult but tbh it's not been as bad as I thought. The original idea that my bank balance would be saved back fired as I've now began shopping for furniture bits such as frames and acrylic make up holders haha. (oh and now a new tattoo.)

I've definitely realised how much clothing I have, and have started to outfit plan and utilise what I already own. I'm going home for a weekend to celebrate my dads birthday (and mothers day early) so I'll technically be shopping my wardrobe back home which is FULL of things. I think this will help as I'll be wearing clothes I haven't worn in a while. I think the majority of my wardrobe back home still has the tags on anyhoo.

I have had a little urge with Asos Curve discounts and Simply Be's new release of incredible pieces (PLEASE DON'T SELL OUT) hahaha.

Here's outfits from this week anyway. Saturday was a PJ day (hungover central) so there was no outfit post just a ' I WOKE UP LIKE THIS #FLAWLESS# selfie.

Day 1
I wore my one off Anna Scholz tunic today. I really fancied some colour so chose this dress with some leggings.

 Day 2
I wore leggings with this oversized top. I did have a maroon cardi for when the office got cold but I forgot to bring it home for the picture. This outfits not the most imaginative, but I felt comfy and relaxed.

Day 3
I wore plain black jeans and this New Look Inspire cami. I was going out after work for drinks for my girl Gemma's birthday, so wore something that could go from day to night.

Day 4
Hangover day. My attire for the day was PJ's. I decided to give you my best Beyonce Flawless face, because I literally did wake up like that ha!!

Day 5
Big day in the 6 nations as England and Wales came head to head. I felt risky and wore my welsh top to watch the game. Not the most stylish of outfits (and didn't give any luck to the team,) but I had to support my boys :p.

Day 6
I didn't get a full length picture but I wore my favourite dog teeth River Island top with my Asos Curve kimono today. I felt relaxed but stylish in this outfit. It's definitely a go to choice for me.

Day 7
I teamed my sheer panel top and a cami waisted dress today. I love layering pieces, especially when I'm mixing textures and colours. This outfit was stylish but so so comfy. I added a hint of neon with my necklace to stand out against the dark tones.

So far I've been okay. I've actually liked looking through my wardrobe for what I have. There's been many occasion I've bought something exactly the same as what I have at home.

A few ladies linked below are also trying to be good and not shop. Follow them and how they get on.

#shopmywardrobeforlent

Okay, now I know when I agreed to this, immediately after I wanted to hide in a hole for the next 40 days. I won't be offended if you you did the same to be honest. I will be giving up clothes shopping for 40 days and 40 nights for lent. I prefer to say 6 weeks as it doesn't seem so bad.

I'm not doing this for religious reasons (arguably yes I'm doing it around the time of lent), but I think for the sake of my bank balance and my clothing rail, I need to wear the tonnes of clothing I have, with and without tags on (someone call shopaholics annon.)

Luckily a few other bloggers are on board (see below), so ladies if your reading this, I will be Facebook messaging you for support haha (and no doubt crying when my beloved Asos Curve wishlist all goes in to SALE.)

The official hashtag on twitter is #ShopMyWardrobeForLent

I will update you with weekly outfit posts (more than likely selfies images as I can't get my housemates to take pictures everyday haha.) I am going to try reallllllly hard to wear what I have and not buy new.

PLEASE SUPPORT ME hahaha.

It must be love love love

So I was invited to the wedding of a work colleague on no other than Valentines day. With not long to outfit plan, I had to put my stylist hat on to create an outfit that would suit the day perfectly.

Using my sequinned skirt again I bought a top from Primark, which had a necklace attached. This helped out on the accessorising department. I chose to wear my Zara heels and team it with my Julien macdonald.

I loved the outfit and felt it gave me an extra confidence boost, as the blushing bride asked me to perform a poem during the ceremony.

The wedding was held at a venue called the Paradise and it simply was that. A mix of vintage taxidermy, grand curtains, old country manor house style decor, my eyes were delighted at everything.

I won't post too much romance about as I for one am extremely jealous (of course I incredibly happy for the loved up couple though :p)
