Not to be confused with British Plus Size Fashion Week, UKPlus Size Fashion Week is a new event from one half of the original founders
Rianne Ward. As I know some may know I
was on the team for the two previous events, but sadly had to step away. With a
few changes a new event has been created and will take place on September 12th-13th
2015.
The plus size industry has grown over the last few years, and fortunately for us ladies straight size brands are adding a plus section to their collections. If you haven't heard of Boohoo I'd be surprised. With their catchy tv adverts, billboard adverts and continuous pages in the magazines, the brand added the plus size range to their collection to the line roughly two years ago. I was fortunate to go along to their AW15 press breakfast to view their up and coming collection.
I still pinch myself knowing that I'm an employee of Anna Scholz. A lady whom I've admired for years, and someone who put their faith and trust in me, giving me my first opportunity within the plus size fashion industry. This month see's the AW15 collection drop. In 4 stories she's created looks that flatter, stand out and make you want more.
