I'm always one to try and support other plus size babes around me. Whether buying in to things they have created or collaborated, or even shouting out and sharing their news. Either way I'm fully supportive and encourage the idea women should support women (and everyone else surrounding them.)
When I heard and first saw Bethany drop drawings and the news she was releasing a collection, I knew from her continuously effortless style that she was creating looooooks. and by looks I mean things plus size women were lacking and should have access to add to their wardrobes.
Colour poping, effortless shapes and then there was this beauty.
Not one to love pink, this millennial shade and the shirt shape completely won me over. The gingham check, and ruffeled sleeves. A statement piece for anyones wardrobe.
I decided to team up with these pearl embellished boyfriend jeans to create a pretty girlie look for me that still felt comfortable and stylish. I'm not usually so prim with my fashion but as soon as I styled this look I knew it was the one.
The jeans I did have to size up on, and sadly with incorrect grading the pockets are on the larger size which doesn't do much to accentuate my butt (not that it needs that.) but I couldn't not get them. The pearly additions are so cute and bang on trend.
The shirt it's self fits amazing and the quality is fantastic. It washes well and stays perfect after a quick iron. The length is great and can be teamed up with a trouser or skirt.
I for one can no wait to see if Bethany continues this collaboration with Navabi. If not Navabi, you seriously need to consider letting her design seasonal collections for sure.
Love
Michaela
