Confidence is something all of us have at certain degrees. Some have little, some have a lot, but one thing I'm certain of is we all have it. The one way that I love to express my confidence is lingerie. I wear it for myself, and of course share with my partner (and the world on social media.) There's just something about a good piece of lingerie that shows off your body that's empowering, sexy and fierce.

Much like Victoria herself (as it later came out) this dress is not in fact Gucci (although I'm a total fiend for the brand.) New Year Goals - How to Boss your Workout Attire

So I'm not in to the whole new year new me idology. I think if you need to progress forward, improve yourself, or just regain focus, you can do it any time of the year. And I'm certainly not in to or endorsing the whole weight loss campaigns that sneak up on us during the month of January, to tell us how we should all be dieting, hitting the gym, and shedding the pounds. But I do advocate self care, practicing good mental health and after the last year of troubles, I certainly am looking towards a new start and for 2019 to show better days.

The Curve Fashion Festival 2018

An event I will always and forever shout out, support and hold close to my heart is the Curve Fashion Festival (see the previous posts here TCFF15 & TCFF17 ). Run by two incredible girl boss ladies, they constantly put plus size fashion and plus size people to the fronts of their minds, to accommodate and welcome year on year. The event is in its fourth year and really has no signs of slowly down or getting any smaller.

I've been a big fan of Elvi since the beginning. Another plus size brand, but one that I felt answered my preys for a cool, edgy, tailored style. Think along the lines of cos, zara etc. Owning several key pieces, I feel the brand is perfect for those wanting a wardrobe that is stylish, trend led and you can mix and match with.

Okay Spring is upon on us (let's forget the beast from the East episode right?) and although I don't tend to drift towards florals, when I spotted these two dress styles from Fashion world I had to try them.

Okay so I'll admit I purchase on a whim and sometimes don't take in to consideration how that brand has treated it's plus size customer. 

The plus pound as I like to call it is something brands are cashing in on, and some are cashing in only to hear the chings in the till, rather than actually producing ranges that fit, where the quality and design are amazing, and to just simply want to support us they customer at all (i.e currently still showing size 12 models showing off the clothing- Campaigns that don't feature plus babes.)

I most definitely love a bardot top and I’m also fond of shiny leggings, so I couldn’t believe my luck when I saw these two pieces from yours clothing in their range. Red is always a colour I’m drawn to but stay away from....but I thought would pair perfect with this shiny black PVC for a glam /rock chic outfit.

In The Style Curve - Day Edition

I really don’t like to compromise on style. I’ll happily freeze in order to look good. I remember I used to wear the most ridiculous shoes in winter and freeze my feet off (probably why I have bad problems with circulation and keeping them warm.) so when I come across items that not only make me look stylish but keep me warm I’m sold.
