The Curve Fashion Festival 2018

An event I will always and forever shout out, support and hold close to my heart is the Curve Fashion Festival (see the previous posts here TCFF15 & TCFF17 ). Run by two incredible girl boss ladies, they constantly put plus size fashion and plus size people to the fronts of their minds, to accommodate and welcome year on year. The event is in its fourth year and really has no signs of slowly down or getting any smaller.


I was privileged to attend the press day event to sneak peak at the brands, the venue and the goings on for the day, and well are you guys in for a treat or what? We were spoilt rotten by Topsy Curvy/Lovedrobe, River Island, Pretty Little Thing, Boohoo and Matalan, all brands who will be at the event this year, showing the best of their plus size ranges. And by the way the stops were pulled for what they did for us, I can only imagine the offering and the experience they'll bring to the event this year.

Now the event this year is being held on Saturday Nov 17th In Liverpool at St Georges Place. Accessible and within minutes of Liverpool train station, the place is so grand and incredibly beautiful (it'd be very hard not to get "the" shot for the gram.) It's spacious, has plenty of seating available, food and drinks served, lift access, and a relaxed and luxurious feel. It's something completely different to the venues the event has been held at since 2015, but in no way any less amazing.

The brands in the fashion hall include pretty little thing, yours, Missguided, Boohoo, Debenhams, River Island and Matalan. With several catwalks including a High Street Retailers Catwalk Show featuring Yours Clothing, River Island, Debenhams, Matalan, Quiz, Marks & Spencer , an Online Retailers Catwalk Show featuring Viva Voluptuous, Pretty Little Thing, Topsy Curvy, Missguided, Curvissa, Boohoo, Lovedrobe. And if this wasn't enough two exclusive launches from Debenhams and Gemma Collins with her latest Collection with BooHoo!

Debenhams are sponsoring the event and will be hosting bra fittings, have a designer on the How To stage and be of course be on on the catwalk with their plus size range
