Confidence is something all of us have at certain degrees. Some have little, some have a lot, but one thing I'm certain of is we all have it. The one way that I love to express my confidence is lingerie. I wear it for myself, and of course share with my partner (and the world on social media.) Participating stores including London, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Bournemouth and Gateshead, will hold in-store events with live models, a themed photo pod and bra fittings (roadshow dates are below.) Hopefully I'll get to see some of you at the London event on the 12th Feb.

The Curvy Kate team will also be joined by Cosmopolitan ‘Catwalk to Curvy’ columnist Laura Puddy, Bridge  Models and the body-loving Self Esteem Team, who will help choose a top 25 before the competition is decided by a public vote.

Curvy Kate: The Daily boost & Strapless Luxe Bras

So you may have read in my previous post about my time at the Curvy Kate event. I was gifted the daily boost bra at the event (also had a fitting too) and as soon as I put it on I felt like I had new boobs (that I couldn't stop touching all night btw ;).) They instantly lifted and afterwards I had comments not only on how pert my boobs were but also how it'd looked like I had lost weight (my waist is small so this bra just helped define it more.) I also had the chance to purchase the new Strapless Luxe bra and some smoothie high rise knickers. All sorted on the lingerie front and so impressed with the fit and look of all the bits, I just had to strip down and blog, to spread the curvy kate word. 

First of all: The Daily Boost (paired with Smoothie high rise knickers.)

Second of all: The Strapless Luxe Bra 

Excuse the grumpy looking face, I'm sure I was going for dominatrix/sex face ha!?

My boobs are supported and still pert. I've struggled for years for a strapless bra for a big cup, that'll actually support and this is doing the job. I even jumped up and down and they stayed in the cup and supported.

A little hard to see, but the button detailing in the middle of the cups is uber cute.

Thick back band. It's so secure and comfy.

The band is tight and I had to pull it around BUT when on it doesn't feel restricting. I can breath, dance, bend up and down. Let's say I can complete the essential tasks haha. This is definitely the right size for me, I just think as it's strapless the band needs to give support, so it has to have a tighter elastic in than usual so don't be put off if you try this!

All I want for Christmas is ..........

I've chosen a few bits from online which come under £100 which I'm hoping to have under my tree Christmas morning. I wasn't aware the brand did home ware so it was a lovely surprise to see when I visited the online store. Here's my list I'm hoping Santa will be able to get for me in time to have under my Christmas tree ;):

1. Floral Jumpsuit

I would dress this jumpsuit up and down for all occasions. It’s smart enough for work, but cool enough for drinks in a bar with the girls. The floral print is gorgeous too. If I got to unwrap this under the tree, it’d be my Christmas day outfit. I’d pop a fur coat on over the top, some sparkly flats and a statement necklace so I looked perfect on the day.

So you may look at this set and question why I’ve not gone for matching, but gone with mixing. If you know me well enough you’ll know how much I love the little mermaid. As soon as my eyes saw these pieces I knew I had to mix them in honour of the mermaid herself. I also love a good lingerie set under the Christmas tree (from someone special.)

4. Cat print cushion

Another thing you may or may not know about me is my love of cats. Small, large, weird looking, cute looking, cats are a must for me. So when my eyes spotted this cat cushion in the homeware bit it was instant love. I’m currently trying to be creative and decorate my bedroom a little bit more. This would be a perfect starting point Father Christmas ;)

Curvy Kate

I was invited along to Curvy Kates SS15 preview last week and I could not say no to a night of boobs, babes and bottles (of wine?) BBB. Get it? lol

Held at the incredible Canvas Café just off Brick Lane (urge you to go if you are in the area), we were greeted by the amazing Curvy Kate team,  lots of models in lingerie and the most amazing wine, food and company.

I managed to see lots of babes including my girls Lucie, Abi and Katie. I also managed to see the lovely Leah, Mayah, Hanna and the gorgeous superstar model Olivia (she’s a uber babe ;) )

We were let in to a secret that they were going to announce a big surprise at the event, and we all had our suspicions as to what it’ll be. I did hear murmurs that they were going to release some sex toys, but when they let the cat out the bag, it was revealed they are releasing a new brand that’s sexier and sultry than ever.

Scantilly is a raunchy brand that offers something a little bit sexier and revealing. The first release is this retro leopard print combo. Everything about it is amazing. As soon as the model walked out, my mouth dropped. It has a hint of Betty Page and mistress about it ;). It’ll be making its way in to my wardrobe if I’m honest.

After the announcement some ladies we fitted and we were generously gifted a bra each. I picked the daily boost which I will be blogging about soon (little secret – it’s incredible.) I managed to pick up their trusty £1 pants too ;) which have had the seal of approval from the man friend.

I've ordered the Luxe strapless bra too which will be heading to my house in January, so another post will be up.

As mentioned the venue was amazing. The walls filled with questions and all different people’s answers. I managed to answer a few. I think the idea is incredible, especially if you can legally graffiti. I’m in! haha

I think it’s fair to say Curvy Kate are my new favourite lingerie brand. Look out for their new SS15 pieces, as well as the new Scantilly.

Bras and Honey - Thee ultimate strapless Wonder bra

I was sent this bra a few weeks back by the amazing team from Bras and honey, and I can honestly say it's a god send. I have bought strapless bra after strapless bra and had to put up with lifeless saggy boobs, as none support them, BUT this bra has completely changed my life.

Finding a strapless bra can be a burden for big boobed ladies, as I'm sure some of you are aware. Not only having to put up with hardly any support from the ones available, but trying to find ones that actually fit. This bra from wonderbra though has changed that for me. I've been able to wear things without the worry my boobs will look like their touching the floor or feeling like I can't do anything it it without them slipping out. I was gifted a size 38F and admittedly the back was a little tight, so I added an extender for comfort.

As you can see by the pictures the bra itself has what looks like hand outlines inside. These are a soft plastic inserts that are supports holding your boobs up and inward. The bottom of the bra sits a little lower than a normal bra but doesn't dig in or feel uncomfortable.


I can't praise this bra enough. I've constantly wore it and the nude colour means it's versatile with all outfits.  I wore it to Dublin and my friends asked how did my boobs look so perky without wearing straps, so I began explaining and my friends have gone and purchased a bra each they were that impressed.
