Me and my work

For a final farewell and a chance to showcase our hard work my University organised Platform 12.

Held at the National Museum of Wales in Cardiff the event showcased both third year Fashion promotion and Fashion design students work.

The setting was magnificent and really brought all our work together.

I decided to purchase a new dress for the occasion, settling with this polka dot dress from New Look. 

The dress fitted well, with a drop hem at the bottom which made it less casual and more glamourous. 

I curled my fringe and wore red lipstick to create a 1950's hollywood pin up look to the dress.

I matched the dress with a pair of strappy cream wedges and my Vivienne Westwood bag.

This dress really showcased how much weight I've lost in the past few months and I felt really confident and glamourous for the event.

It was sad to say bye to tutors and fellow students but the night over all made me excited for the future.

Just a quick update, now that uni is finally over and I have the time. I've been meaning to try out this neon trend but never have. So to make an impact for my 21st birthday week I decided to try.


I bought this simple jersey black dress and the wedges and decided to use neon to stand out.


The dilemma WHAT BAG TO CHOOOSEEE? haha

The satchel I can get in Neon pink only but I still cant choose which one to get

ASOS CURVE Exclusive Dress In Chain Print

So You won't know this but i turn 21 on the 14th May.

The past few birthday's I've gone wild and did fancy dress

(see below - Katy Perry Cardiffornia gurls ;) )

well this birthday I wanted to show a classier side and keep it to nice dresses.

On my quest to find a nice dress that fitted properly I came across this chain print dress on asos and fell in love.

I was that excited for it to arrive I ordered next day delivery.

When I opened the package I was a little disappointed to say the least.

I initially thought the dress came with the gold belt styled with, a mistake I own up to due to not reading the description properly but for the price (£38.00) the dress seemed to be just a simple piece of patterned material.

Not to be a pessimist I decided to try it on and WOW. Despite the fact it's thin and lifeless off the body, when tried on it really comes to life.

The wrap front fits perfectly around my chest and finishes just right for a little glimpse of cleavage but not so much your whole boob or bra is on show.

The bottom is a little bit tight but that's due to my thighs but I'm still able to walk and feel comfortable. 

Overall this dress fits and looks perfect. My waist is inched in the right place the length is perfect and the wrap over front accentuates my best assets.

To style the outfit I'm wearing

Studded clutch - Primark

Im on the search for jewelry and a belt but I'm thinking possibly a necklace bracelet and small thin belt to break the dress up. 

 I'm open to suggestions anyone might have though:)
