The nights are drawing in, and with it comes the grey
miserable days and the cold weather. I have a love hate relationship with the transition
from summer to Autumn, Autumn to Winter. I love the leaves turning copper
shades, the crisp air with blue skies, hot chocolate and wrapping up in a
scarf. I dislike the cold, grey miserable weather and the change of wardrobe. I
never quite get it right. Is it cold enough for a thick coat? Will I boil on
the tube and rushing around London?
So as the days are getting colder I decided to add some
jumpers to my wardrobe. Starting with this off the shoulder jumper from yours
clothing. A easy way to still have some summer style (loveeee baring my
shoulders) but the warmth of the fabric for Autumn.
Embroidery isn’t going away and I for one am all about
comfort with my style now, so when I spotted these boyfriend embroidered jeans
I knew this would be a look I’d love.
Mules are a pretty nice transitional shoe in my eyes. Foot
is covered but still have a summer feel. My feet are not ready for thick socks
and boots just yet.
The off the shoulder jumper is so roomy and the fit is amazing. There are
some grungy almost rip details along the front near the hem that show if you
look but sadly don’t show too much. The off the shoulder is comfortable and for
me I’ve worn on with both shoulders out or one just sheepishly poking through.
The jeans I did size up in and actually found with wear I probably didn’t need to. I love how comfortable the oversize boyfriend cut is and love the turn up. I have a love hate relationship with skinny jeans. They make my butt look great but when the bloat comes or you’re just wanting the feeling of your clothes clinging to you, they can be a pain. I am one for the comfort and when I need to feel at my best that’s exactly the styles I turn to.
The wide foot mule shoes are so comfortable and the wide fit fits. The
cushioned soles help with the slight heel and they are so easy to walk in.
I’m still figuring out how to transition my wardrobe in to
the depths of Winter (brrrrr) but for now this look suits me fine for the
Autumn months ahead.
