Summer is just
about over and boy what a Summer it has been. I finally got to head to America
after yearsssss of not going and completed the trip of a life time. San Fran,
La, Las Vegas then over to New York New York.
With flights getting
cheaper by the month I do not understand why I haven’t jetted across sooner.
America I won’t leave it 113 odd years to head back (LA for my birthday next
year anyone.)
I went to New
York as a teenager and 13 years later my sense and memory were so vivid I genuinely
felt like I’d never been away. I really am a city girl at heart. As much as I
love going back and visiting the green green grass (and mountains of home) give
me a city skyline and a busy walkway any day.
The hustle and
bustle amongst the hot July heat did become too much though and me and Lauren
(after a very blurry drunken first night – sorry mum) found an amazing spot
near Brooklyn bridge along the waterfront to cure our sore heads. After some amazing food we
shot this amazing dress amongst the quiet streets.
The dress isn’t something
i’d usually go for, but knowing I’d have a tan the orange really drew me in. I’ve
been eyeing up a lot of girlie flowy things and this dress with it's flared hem just really stood
out. Paired with an embellished pair of handy sandals I felt so girlie and
almost romantic against the twinkling lights right by Brooklyn Bridge.
The dress was
perfect in the heat, an amazing length and the fit was great. And even better both the dress and shoes are in the amazing yours clothing sale right now.
Now where is my
passport I need to book another flight across the Atlantic.
Love
Michaela
