Day To Night With Evans Clothing

I was gifted this amazing tunic skater dress, along with accessories by the amazing plus size brand Evans. Easy to wear, this dress really can be worn for any occasion . I decided to show you guys how I'd wear it for work then how I'd change my look so I was ready to hit the town for drinks with the girls.

I'm lucky that I don't really have a uniform as such. I can wear what I want (obviously within reason or otherwise I'd swan about in my pjs.) My first look I wore this Evans oriental printed dress  * with leggings and my favourite pair of trainers. I let the print on the dress really make the outfit. This of course is a really laid back outfit, but I think the dress really gives the look some umph so it's not drab or boring.

The fit on this particular style is so lovely. It really fits like a glove, coming in at the right places and flaring out where it should. Although as I'm tall it is pretty short on my frame.

A dressed down look that really speaks volumes.

So when it nears the end of the working day, and we're all at our desks watching the clock hands tick until it's finally home time (and the weekend,) these few but simple tricks will transform your look from office to cocktails in less than 5 minutes.

So first off the quickest accessory (or addition) to add to change your look for an occasion is simply add lipstick. I went for a purpley red to make the colours in the dress. I really believe lipstick changes a look. When I want to feel more dressed up or sophisticated, even if I'm not going anywhere and just need the boost, I'll turn to lipstick.

I also poofed my hair a little to make it more dramatic and messy.

I added these amazing accessories from Evans to also transfer this look (please note the bag is an old bag.)

I added a dramatic statement necklace, that didn't actually get lost in the print. Swapping the leggings for tights, I then added this small studded heeled shoes. These are easy to walk in and due to the wide fit and padded insoles are so comfy to dance the night away in.

Of course adding a plain black clutch to the look completes it and I'd say I'm ready to go.

Do you have any little tricks that you do to transform your look?
