If you live in the UK you’ll know how temperamental the
weather is. Rain one second, sun the next. And my biggest dilemma is what shoes
to wear. Something comfy, but something to keep my toes dry. Something stylish
that goes with my outfit, but something that won’t blister my feet. My go to
during this weird time of the year for weather is a pair of boots. I find they
go with almost every item I own and are comfy dry and stylish.
I picked up this pair of suede leather cut out boots from Simply Be after spotting them
in their recent #SimplySoleSister shoe campaign. Simply Be are always a go to
for shoes that fit and are stylish. They have such an amazing range and even
stock brands such as Hunter, Ugg & Puma. Their clothing selection recently too is spot on. I
picked up this grey frill sleeve tunic dress for a mear £18.00. It’s so versatile
for layering and creating different looks, and even looks cute on its own.
I love the feel of this look. It’s fab for work or play.
I’d dress it up with a statement necklace and head out after work. And as the
boots are sooo comfy I’ll probably dance the night away in no pain what’s so
ever.
My favourite feature has to be the low cut out at the side.
It sorta gives a cool edge feel and shows a little ankle. If you’re worried
about showing socks, I’d advise getting the pop socks that just come around
your toes and back of your feet and leave the tops of your feet exposed. With
tights the cut isn’t so noticeable, but the metal finish at the toe ensure
there is some detailing seen. The quality of the shoes is amazing. The suede
leather feels amazing. I will warn when first trying on I did struggle to put
these on due to the leather being stiff but it is something that once you get
your foot in and wear they stretch and almost mould to your foot shape. Definitely
give them a chance it’s just the nature of the fabric.
The contrast heel isn’t too high, so doesn’t make walking
uncomfortable or difficult. I just love the overall look and feel of these and
they are my go to boot going in to spring. I can’t wait to pair with a pair of
denim jeans and a basic top for a dressed up downtime look.
