Ladies (and gentlemen) hands up who suffers from the dreaded chub rub? Okay yeah look around coz a lot of us do. It's nothing to be ashamed of, but I dread nothing more than wearing the wrong shorts/tights and getting home to the burn and the discomfort where my thighs have rubbed themselves together.
I know 99.999999% of the time, even with tights wear a cycle short. This often does mean have to consider the length of garments so they don't show, but I can't be without. But even this option has been a trail and error process.
Shorts made from a cotton legging material, a no go and they ride up. Thick tights, no go due to wearing away thinner and thinner throughout the day so you're almost cheese grating your skin against each other. Every solution I have tried until I was kindly gifted a pair of Chaffree shorts.
Opting for the knickerboxers in a full waist long length size XL in black I can not recommend these highly enough.
The performance fabric enables you to stay dry cool and comfortable by pulling moisture away. The same fabric also has anti bacterial properties that help to allow the skin to breath and keeps you feeling cool and fresh. And the way they are designed virtually seamless allows for stretch and comfort with any changes in your body.
I've been wearing them for weeks and I feel like I have nothing underneath my clothes. They are so comfortable, don't dig in and have saved my thighs from rubbing.
Over Christmas they were fantastic as I didn't dread the bloat, as they stretch comfortably to the change in my body. They looked great under party dresses I wore, and barely noticeable over a thick pair of tights (which allowed me to actually wear shorter dresses.)
As for washing. I hand washed mine and they dry within hours, keeping their shape and quality.
I can't wait to purchase more in natural tones to wear throughout summer under dresses and skirts, especially on my trip across the pond.
