La Roche Posay - New Product Effaclar K (+) And My Skin Care Routine

I was invited along to the launch of the new La Roche Posay Product  Effaclar K (+). I'm a huge fan of the brand, and with suffering with adult Acne (that sadly re appeared after intense treatment as a teen) the products have helped my skin woes and given me confidence I didn't have before.

I haven't had confidence issues with my body, but my skin on my face has always dented in my confidence. La Roche Posay Effclar range really has changed my life. My routine is included below with a list of the of the products I use.

The night was about the launch of a new product from the Effclar range (this is the range I mainly use that is A complete solution for all types of imperfection and blemish-prone skin.)

Effclar K (+)  was created by La Roche-Posays Research. It showed that, under the effects of external aggressors (pollutant particles, dust...), oily imperfection-prone skin undergoes oxidation, which can trigger a chain reaction (hyperkeratinisation, sebum hyperproduction, oxidation of sebum and impurities present at skin surface ) which in turn can lead to the formation of new imperfections.

Beyond refining the look of skin texture, Effclar K not only cares for oily skin but aims to reduce the appearance of blackheads and mattify skin for 8 hours from the very first application.

My current routine includes the following products shown above (one not shown.)

I use mainly the Effclar range as said above as it offers a complete solution for my imperfections and blemish-prone skin.

With their knowledge of the skin’s physiology, Laboratoires La Roche-Posay have developed this range to provide a solution adapted to each oily skin profile and for me it’s a life saviour.

I start by washing with the Effclar Purifying Cleansing Gel This is a facial wash especially created for oily skin. It gently cleanses the skin thanks to its high tolerance foaming power. It also helps to eliminate impurities and excess sebum, leaving the skin feeling clean and fresh.

I then remove my mascara and any tougher make up that is still on my skin with Garnier micellar water

I then tone my face using Serozinc. This is a facial mist toner featuring Zinc Sulphate, that is specifically designed to target key signs of oily, blemish-prone skin. I gently spray this over my face, waiting roughly a minute before using a cotton pad to gently pat dry my face.

Then using Effaclar DUO[+]anti-blemish cream I fight any imperfections my skin may have. It is specifically formulated to target the key signs of oily, blemish-prone skin and clinically proven to correct the appearance of blemishes. It unclogs pores and refines the look and feel of my skin texture.

My moisturisers I use then differs for the time of day.

In the morning I use Effclar Mat. It really helps to limit the appearance of pores and shine by reducing excess sebum. I find it mattifies my skin and is a brilliant base/primer for my make up.

At night I use a stronger moisturiser Effaclar H. This moisturises oily skin that feels weak and fragile. It also provides skin with the lipids it lacks to reconstitute the protective hydrolipidic film. I find it too thick to use as a cream during the day but at night it’s perfect as whilst sleeping it works on my skin.

I can not wait to use the Effclar K (+) I think it'll be a perfect addition to my skin routine and hopefully be another product I can't stop re purchasing.

Love
