Not to be confused with British Plus Size Fashion Week, UKPlus Size Fashion Week is a new event from one half of the original founders
Rianne Ward. As I know some may know I
was on the team for the two previous events, but sadly had to step away. With a
few changes a new event has been created and will take place on September 12th-13th
2015.
I was only explaining a few weeks ago about the importance
of plus size events in the UK and how it gives everyone an opportunity to meet
one another (we all spend a lot of time on the internet chatting :p) and for a
chance to meet the brands. I love to get to as many as I can to support the
other babes that work so hard and to also meet new people and brands.
This event promises to focus on creating a platform for plus
size fashion in the UK, as well as dedicating time to celebrate plus size
fashion, with brands such as Evans, Boo Hoo, ASOS, and Make Believe Beauty all
sponsoring the event.
It has just been announced that Jess & The Bandits are
on board to support and attend the event. The band who have recently debuted
their current single "Nitty Gritty" (watch the video here); will be
there for a meet & greet and will be performing a world exclusive of their
new single "beautiful" written specifically for the UK Plus Size
Fashion Awards.
Global style icon Chastity Garner of GarnerStyle is also joining
the event. This will offer all you GarnerStyle’s UK fans an exclusive
opportunity to meet & greet the curvy style icon. Chastity will also be
taking part in the live discussion panel, where various pressing matters about
the plus size fashion industry will be debated by an expert panel

Saturday 12th September 2015
Independent Designer Fashion Show – Open to the
Public, Independent Designers from around the world will take to our
runway.
Retailer/Boutique Fashion Show – Open to the Public, your
favourite high street retailers and online brands showcase their latest
collection on our runway.
Exhibition Hall / Marketplace – Open to the Public
Sunday 13th September 2015
A super fun packed day.
We are expecting up to 50 amazing exhibitors and pop up
shops. Come along and look out for those super exclusive pieces.
