The Curve Fashion Festival

I'm sure if you are reading this you know how strong and supportive the plus size community are of one another. Of course there are friendship groups among us but that doesn't deter our sense of community. I for one hardly get chance to see a lot of the blogging babes as they don't live near or in London so when events are specifically created to endorse plus size fashion and body confidence it's a great opportunity for us all to meet whether we're new or old friends.

Following my social media (twitter or Instagram) you'd see I finally kept to my promise of going on Holiday for my birthday.

The hassle and stress of organising something in Britain really takes away the fun out of birthdays. I just wanted to relax and get away for a week and I chose no better time to do it on my day of birth. My mums birthday is 3 days after mine (yes I was the best early birthday present ever) so we decided to do a daughter and mothers holiday in the sun in Crete.

Velvet D'amour Photoshoot - Dreams Come True

A few weeks ago I had the absolute pleasure of being photographed with Velvet D’Amour. Now I’m no model in any sense of the word, but do I like posing? Yes. Do I like a little bit of flattery and attention? As much as the next guy. So when Velvet announced she’d be photographing people in the UK I jumped at the chance. I had missed the last opportunity due to other commitments but there was no way I was missing out this time. My deposit was accepted, my time slot given and I arrived bright and early to not only meet my idol but be photographed by her.
