When I first spotted (excuse the pun) this dress I knew it had to mine. I am a huge fan of Jameela Jamil. She's such a great advocate for body positivity and imagery, and when Simply Be announced the collaboration I was more than excited to see what was in store.
Of course I had my eyes on other items like the retro and total diva leopard print maxi, and the the amazing stretch jersey skorts (chub rub lifesaver,) but this dress was a winner in my eyes.
Polka dot mesh detailing would win me over any day, and with a slight a line style skirt I just knew this dress was made for me.
I went for a 22 and it's perfect. The ponte jersey is comfortable and isn't restrictive at all. It just flares at the right place and sits perfectly. I can't sing it's praises enough.
I wore the dress when I went away for a weekend break away, and felt like a total princess. I just felt sophisticated and elegant but still edgy. I paired it with a simple block heel shoe and my trusty faux fur clutch bag, adding a bright lip to pop out against the black.
You can pick the dress up in the sale right now at a steal, and I really wouldn't hesitate to get it. It's worth every penny, and definitely a LBD you need that'll last a lifetime.
