Hidden Secrets Of London Bridge

So whenever anyone mentions London Bridge, The Shard or borough market spring to mind. London land marks that can been seen from the skyline and below. But my favourite part of London Bridge is in the opposite direction. Hayes galleria and nearer tower bridge (the bridge tourists often mistake for London) the views, atmosphere are incredible. A city vibe near the mayors office . There's plenty of hotels in London Bridge , restaurants, views and cool historic things to see.

#Faceyourfirst with Clairol Nice 'n Easy

First times, now I know for a fact your mind instantly is drawn to thee first time. Sex, the first time you do the deed. But the reality is we have many firsts in life. Some significant, some not, but with firsts we all know for sure we’re going in to the unknown because we’ve never done it before.
Now some firsts for me are emotional, they are sad, heart breaking and ones I just wish I could go back and change, some are amazingly happy, joyous and ones to celebrate.

My Roman Holiday Adventure - Win With Navabi And Manon Baptiste

I have always had a fond spot for Navabi, but after they quite clearly had a change on their social team (eg we all know what babe I’m talking about – AKA Bethany.) Their constant want and determination to change the way plus size fashion is shown, marketed etc is incredible. They continue to push the barriers and break the molds.

Improving My Photography

Photography and blogging sort of go hand in hand. You don’t need to be a photographer at all, but it helps if your imagery is clean crisp and I guess attractive. It’s a dog eat dog world and more and more people are creating sites, so you’re photography has to stand out. I learnt this the hard way and recently up’d my game.

Embroidered Detailing With New Look Curves

Embroidered Detail Jeans New Look Curves

Embroidered patch details are in the in thing right now. On denim, mesh, accessories. There is no stopping this trend. When I saw these jeans on New Look I was amazed and had to get them.

I'm fond of an all black outfit now and again but any chance to add some colour I'm there.

2016 - My Reflection

It sound incredibly cliche to say but my word this year is lost. I lost so much that I didn't think I ever would. I lost things and something I didn't even know I had or wanted. I lost myself and others.

I truly lost everything in a sense. I lost my way, I lost my beliefs, I lost my mind I guess you could say.

Flexible Working With Pow Wow Now

Despite having a 9-5 (or 10-6 actually) I am fortunate to be able to work flexibly for my blog. It's this flexible working that allows me to be creative and in control of my working hours. I can manage and balance my working life, whilst still benefiting from my social life.

30 Before 30 - My List

So by the time you read this the clock would have struck midnight and I will be 25. The grand old age, 1/4 of a century old. I have been having serious prangs about reaching this mile stone but when I look back on my life it's crazy to see how far I've come.

Discovering Wine At The Royal Horseguards Hotel London

I was so lucky to be invited along to the Royal Horseguards hotel in London to discover and taste wine. Now I've been known to enjoy a cider or gin but my one true love is a glass (uh hum a bottle) of wine. There's just something civilized and relaxing about cracking that bottle open and pouring into a large wine glass.

I loved each and every single day at UKPSFW. The first was the press day (read here,) the second was the fashion show (read here,) and the third a exhibition/marketplace day (read here.)

I couldn't not post about the outfits I wore.

#Golf with Monarch

N1 Golf Range Greenwich Review - Golfing with Monarch Airlines
N1 Golf Range Greenwich Review - Golfing with Monarch Airlines

Last Wednesday I was invited to a blogger event organised by Talented Talkers and Monarch Airlines. It took place at N1 Golf at Greenwich Peninsula. Having never golfed in my life I was excited to have the chance to learn. I also have very fond memories of flying with Monarch airline to Florida as a child, so I took the opportunity to not only golf but look at their golfing weekend breaks and support a brand who I've grown up with.

Dorothy Perkins Curve - New Range

Dorothy Perkins Curve Range - My thoughts Review

Have you heard the news? Arcadia brand Dorothy Perkins are launching a plus size line. If you didn't know Evans is under the same umbrella as Dorothy Perkins, and the news that the brand are expanding their straight sized products in to plus is music to my ears.

#stylehasnosize Evans campaign- the bloggers take over

Our Size Has Style - Bloggers take over style has no size

You may or may not have noticed yesterday's push for the #stylehasnosize campaign and the UK plus size fashion week event. Using 5 models (who for the record are beautiful) to represent the hashtag and both brands/events in a 'live' photoshoot along Oxford street. Now Evans and UKPSFW it's not the hashtag I'm angry at, I carry my tote bag with the label loud and proud every day, the problem I have is the lack of diversity in the body shapes used and how I can't relate to any of the girls bodies.

Evans Collection

My marmite feelings towards Evans almost change in a matter of seconds after a visit to their Marble Arch store. My favourite store in the whole of their branches, I visited one sunny Saturday afternoon as I had to pick up new bedding and some new underwear at Primark. By this point I still hadn't tried on the cut for Evans things. All in the sale I grabbed the chance to try the Scuba dress I had my eyes on. I also grabbed a chance to try on the Collection pieces I've been sorting after. Here's what I thoughts:

What isn't to love about this dress? I mean the price is even now incredible. I tried on my normal size a size 20 and just felt I may have needed a bigger size. Unfortunately they didn't have it :(. I went straight online to find the dress had sold out completely and my heart broke. I was still on a spending ban but somehow willingly to break it for this dress. I love the material and colour. The only thing I would change is how short it was on me, but being 5ft 9/10 it's something I constantly battle with.

This jumpsuit was/is/will forever be AMAZING. The floral with the spotted mesh detailing, the style, the cut EVANS I LOVE YOU. I would however probably size up again in this as the fabric felt snug around my middle bit (girl got hips and a ASS haha.) the price tag no matter how steep may have to be forgotten (oif this arrives in Sale may need to be snapped up) This WILL be in my wardrobe in 2014 some point.

Now this dress was something I have wanted since it came out. The floral print, the neon and necklace everything about this dress is so Spring Summer 14. I tried on again my normal size in this dress a size 20 but I think for the shift style and fit I would easily have to size up twice. The joys of having a body that's two size bigger at the bottom. I'm not sure if I loved this as much as the jumpsuit although I would love this to be a piece in my wardrobe, I think the wardrobe would have to be there before this. However saying that the whole 'Collection' collection is so inspiring and I can not thank Evan's enough for trying something new and pushing the boundaries.

Love
